MONTREAL, March 7, 2024 - Today we are extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Andy Nightengale to Vice President, Engineering. Since arriving at BrainBox AI in 2021, Andy has had a tremendous impact on the progress and success of the organization. His impeccable leadership skills and expertise have carried many successful projects and innovations to completion. Guided by his innate ability to deliver solutions, Andy’s new role will center on integrating the strategic vision of the company into its tactical plans across all building mechanic initiatives.
With over two decades of experience in the energy sector, Andy began his journey as an intern at Old Dominion University's Industrial Assessment Center (IAC), where he developed a passion for energy conservation and efficiency. While honing his skills in mechanical design engineering, Andy specialized in HVAC and control systems across diverse sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, and healthcare. During his tenure at one of Trane's largest independent franchise, Brady Trane, he rose to Director of Energy Services within their energy services group, leading a multidisciplinary team spanning engineering, sales, operations, and measurement and verification (M&V).

Andy is a licensed Professional Engineer and Certified Energy Manager in South Carolina and holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
